A common characteristic of both social entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs generally is persistance. Check out this story of an Indian entrepreneur who wanted to revolutionize female sanitary products – unable to find someone to test his cottage industry pads, he tried them himself. Talk about not giving up in the face of adversity:
